It is located 260 kms of Havana.
The town of Santísima Trinidad de Cuba, the city-museum or the city stopped in the time, as it is also known, will make you travel back in time and feel as if you were in a Spanish colonial village of the 18th - 19th century. Founded in 1514, is one of the first seven villages founded in Cuban and one of the oldest in the whole American continent. Because of its fantastic architecture and its historical and cultural values, Trinidad was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.
Las Terrazas is a rural community of sustainable development located in Sierra del Rosario, World Biosphere Reserve. This is one of the most beautiful places of nature in Cuba. This beautiful community has a great deal of cultural life. You will enjoy and buy if you wish painting, serigraph, ceramic and woodwork in the few workshops of the locality.
This is a very interesting destination for its unique nature and its historic connotation. In a beach of this peninsula and swamp, Playa Girón, was defected in April 1961; in less than 72 hours, and invasion financed and equipped by the CIA and the USA Government to overthrow the revolutionary government.
Also known as the Rainbow of Cuba, Soroa is located in Sierra del Rosario some 70 km to the west of Havana. This area, for its many natural attractions, has been recognized by UNESCO as Biosphere Reserve. The variety of birds and the wonderful view of the landscape make of this site an ideal one for photography lovers. This is a perfect place for enjoying a day in direct contact with the natural world.
