Day # 1: Cienfuegos
Day # 2: Sightseeing Trinidad
DAY 1 PROGRAM: CIENFUEGOS
Cienfuegos is also known as the Pearl of the South or the Pretty City of the Sea. Cienfuegos was founded by French settlers in 1819. Its location, surrounding the Jagua Bay and its eclectic architecture make Cienfuegos one of the most beautiful cities in Cuba. It has been recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO. It is located 260 km of Havana.
a) Departure at 8:00 AM.
b) Arrival to Cienfuegos around mid day
c) Route by Paseo del Prado de Cienfuegos.
d) Visit to Punta Gorda; the most beautiful neighborhood of Cienfuegos located in the peninsula of the same name that stretches out in the bay. Among the main sightseeing of this area is the Cienfuegos Malecón, The Cienfuegos Palace, the Valle Palace and the Jagua Hotel.
d) Stop for lunch at Villa Lagarto, a lovely villa located at the tip of the peninsula right next to the waters of the bay. (not included in the price of the excursion).
e) Visit to Parque José Martí, the central Park of the city. This is the biggest central park in Cuba and in it stands the only Arch of Triumph in Cuba. Next to the park are emblematic buildings of the city as the Tomás Terry Theater, the building of the town council, The San Lorenzo School and the Goitizolo Palace (current House of the Culture). Next to the park is the boulevard, also very attractive.
f) Quick visit to the Tomas Acea Cemetery famous for its portico that copies the Parthenon.
g) Visit to Botanic Garden of Cienfuegos; the oldest of Latin America founded more than 100 years with expert advice of the Harvard University. It has the biggest collection of Palms in Cuba.
h) Departure to Trinidad.

j) Dinner at the booked housed.
k) Free activities at night.
DAY 2 PROGRAM: SIGHTSEEING TRINIDAD
The town of Santísima Trinidad de Cuba, the city-museum or the city stopped in the time, as it is also known, will make you travel back in time and feel as if you were in a Spanish colonial village of the 18th - 19th century. Founded in 1514, is one of the first seven villages founded in Cuban and one of the oldest in the whole American continent. Because of its fantastic architecture and its historical and cultural values, Trinidad was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.
a) Breakfast at the booked house.
b) A long walk around the Historic Center of the city: Visit Plaza Mayor; The museums Romantico and Palacio Cantero as well as the Parroquial Mayor.
c) Visit Parque El Cubano.
d) Lunch at restaurant Estilo Gourmet with a nice environment and view of Trinidad. (not included in the price of the excursion).
e) Visit to Valle de los Ingenios and the property and tower-view point of the former sugar farm of the family Manaca Iznaga. This tower; with 48 meters, is the highest construction of the Colonial times in Cuba.
f) Return to Havana around 3:30 PM.
